Opening November 17th, 2009 CVAC "Small Matters Show A Teeny Tiny Show" This art show has paintings and sculptures that at their largest are 3 inches in any direction. Robert has entered two small abstract paintings that look like pieces of jewerly in a black frame that are gold and sparkly. We hope you can stop by the gallery at 2 - 139 Station Street, Duncan, BC. To get to the Moose Lodge you take Hwy 1 to Beverly St. then take a right on Beverly, stay on Beverly until you reach Lakes Rd. which is easy to see as there will be a round a bout you take, take the road that goes up the hill and then Moose Rd. is the second road on the right at the top of the hill. Tickets are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. Robert will be playing his electric bass guitar in the Paradigm Shifters. The music the Paradigm Shifters will play is for your dancing and listening pleasure. Robert enjoys calling the music they play Improv Musical Conversations!July is a busy month for Robert. On July 11th & 12th Robert is displaying his art at the Cowichan Bay Art Walk in the lovely town of Cowichan Bay, BC. Robert will be there from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Please come down to Cowichan Bay and see what Robert's up to.Then for the weekend of July 17th, 18th & 19th Robert is performing with Tibetian musician Jamyang Yeshi at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver he is on stage at 10:00am and 1:50 pm on Saturday July 18th and on stage again at 10:00am on Sunday July 19th. The next weekend Robert performs at the Islands Folk Festival at Providence Farm in Duncan, BC July 24th, 25th & 26th. Robert is exploring his musical side once again. Robert is performing with Tibetian musician Jamyang Yeshi at 4:00pm Saturday July 25th. Robert first love was always music. Robert has played the electric bass gutiar since grade four. Robert and his friend Jack Mants & Doug Gray started a band in grade school and played all the way through high school making money for performing in bars and dance halls. Robert is excited and grateful for the chance to be on stage once again! It is a dream come true!
